By booking an appointment, submitting intake forms, or receiving services at Velle Spa, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Velle Spa provides non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic and wellness services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Laser treatments (Aerolase®)

  • Skin rejuvenation and corrective treatments

  • Hair reduction

  • Acne, pigmentation, and vascular treatments

  • Other cosmetic or wellness services

All services are elective and cosmetic in nature unless otherwise stated.

2. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Aesthetic and laser treatments involve inherent risks and individual results vary. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes.

Services provided do not replace medical care, diagnosis, or treatment by a physician. You are responsible for consulting a licensed medical professional regarding any medical concerns.

3. CLIENT ELIGIBILITY & DISCLOSURE

By booking services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or have legal guardian consent if permitted)

  • You have truthfully disclosed all medical conditions, medications, allergies, and recent procedures

  • You are not pregnant unless explicitly approved by a provider

  • You understand that certain conditions or medications may make you ineligible for treatment

Failure to disclose accurate information releases Velle Spa from all liability.

4. CONSULTATION & CONSENT

Prior to receiving services, clients must:

  • Complete an intake and medical history form

  • Participate in a consultation (in-person or virtual)

  • Sign informed consent documents specific to the treatment

Velle Spa reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time for safety, medical, or professional reasons.

5. RISKS & SIDE EFFECTS

Potential risks associated with laser and aesthetic treatments may include, but are not limited to:

  • Temporary redness, swelling, or discomfort

  • Burns, blistering, or irritation

  • Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation

  • Scarring (rare)

  • Unsatisfactory cosmetic results

You acknowledge and accept these risks by proceeding with treatment.

6. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

Results vary based on individual factors including skin type, condition, lifestyle, hormonal influences, and adherence to treatment plans.

Multiple sessions and maintenance treatments may be required. Results are not guaranteed.

7. PRE- & POST-TREATMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients agree to follow all pre- and post-treatment instructions, including but not limited to:

  • Avoiding sun exposure, tanning, or self-tanners

  • Avoiding contraindicated skincare products

  • Following aftercare guidance provided by staff

Failure to comply may increase risks and void any responsibility of Velle Spa.

8. APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOW POLICY

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee or forfeiture of session

  • Late arrivals may result in shortened appointments or rescheduling without refund

9. PAYMENT & PACKAGES

  • Payment is due prior to services unless otherwise stated

  • Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Unused sessions may expire after 18 months

  • Prices and services are subject to change without notice

10. REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of aesthetic services:

  • No refunds are provided for completed services

  • Refunds are not guaranteed for unused services or dissatisfaction with results

11. PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORD KEEPING

With your consent, photographs may be taken for:

  • Medical documentation

  • Treatment evaluation

  • Educational or marketing purposes

You may opt out of marketing use in writing.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velle Spa, its owners, practitioners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Adverse reactions or complications

  • Dissatisfaction with results

  • Outcomes related to undisclosed conditions

  • Client noncompliance with instructions

13. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velle Spa from any claims, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from your treatment or breach of these Terms.

14. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

All personal and medical information is handled confidentially and in compliance with applicable privacy and HIPAA regulations.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

16. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking an appointment, signing intake forms, or receiving services, you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

  • Agree to be bound by them

  • Voluntarily consent to treatment
